Chief Administrative Officer

Major General Mohaned Hussain was appointed Chief Administrative Officer of Telecom Egypt in May 2026, bringing more than 25 years of experience in administrative oversight, governance, and anti-corruption to the role. He is responsible for the company's administrative governance, institutional oversight, and internal control functions.

He joined the Administrative Control Authority in 2000 and advanced through a series of senior leadership positions, becoming First Deputy Chairman in 2024. His roles at the Authority included Head of the Security Sector and Supreme Committee member (2021), Head of the Greater Cairo Sector overseeing administrative units in Cairo, Giza, and Qalyubia (2018), Head of the Authority's Suez Office (2017), and Head of its Media Center (2015)—spanning oversight, inspection, performance monitoring, and anti-corruption work.

His international experience spans engagements with counterpart oversight agencies and anti-corruption institutions across Europe, the Gulf, and Asia, including a governmental delegation to Greece on Egyptian endowment (waqf) properties. He holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Police Sciences (1992).
